We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to oversee the delivery of a range of high quality recreational and educational activities for children attending our after-school club.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Able to establish and build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues and ensure effective communication.
• A team player, able to supervise and motivate a team of staff to deliver high quality creative play opportunities in a fun, safe and welcoming environment.
• Able to monitor and maintain a varied programme of activities and assist in the delivery of quality childcare provision.
• Supportive of the school’s ethos.

Good administration and organisation skills, together with previous experience working with, or supporting young children between 7 – 11 years, is essential.  A first aid qualification, or willingness to obtain one is also required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with children and wants to develop existing skills and experience. The role is term time only, 2.00pm – 6.15pm Monday – Friday.  The actual starting salary is £13,477 for 21.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum.
