TEACHER OF DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY - GRAPHIC DESIGN
To commence Easter 2025 or September 2025


Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of creative talent? We are seeking a talented, highly motivated practitioner with the ability and enthusiasm to deliver innovative and enjoyable Graphic Design lessons to our students.  This is a full-time opportunity, with the flexibility to reduce to 0.8 FTE, if desired. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, as our current specialist teacher is embarking on an international career journey. You would be joining a supportive, committed and experienced Design & Technology team who work hard to deliver innovative and enjoyable lessons.  In return for your hard work you will receive exceptional support and training, and the rewards that come with teaching students who really want to learn. 

About Us
Hinchley Wood School is an inclusive and high achieving school on the borders of SW London.  We have over 1,400 students on roll including 275 in our Sixth Form and are one of the top 200 performing schools in England and Wales in terms of the progress our students make between the end of Key Stage 2 and their GCSEs.  We are extremely proud of our students’ academic achievements, but we also celebrate student progress and development in all areas and we enjoy outstanding sporting and creative achievements. 

The Design & Technology Department
Design & Technology is a thriving department where students are encouraged to be independent problem solvers and creative thinkers. The curriculum is planned and delivered in a way which fosters this, as our projects equip the students with a variety of skills to help them become expert designers and makers. All of this culminates in the positive exam results the students regularly achieve.
